The Gaia Pacha's Volunteer Program requires participants with a strong commitment of service, cultural sensitivity, and willing to work individually or in teamwork supporting the Foundation's areas of action. Gaia Pacha expects to work with Bolivian and international students and professionals eager to share their experience and put in practice their leadership in the resolution of diverse environmental conflicts in Bolivia.

Either National or international volunteers will be able to work within Gaia Pacha's framework of Environmental Education or Research. The most outstanding initiatives include the development of environmental education campaigns such as The Pedestrian Day ("Día del Peatón"), The "Manzanas Verdes", and workshops in rehabilitation centers. Also, great part of Gaia Pacha's effort is aimed to design, produce, and distribute educational materials promoting people's behaviour change towards sustainability. In the same direction, Gaia Pacha is intimately involved in the production of a radio program two times a week in coordination with the radio station Alter-Nativa. Within the efforts to tackle the negative impacts of Climate Change, the Foundation has gained national reputation for its research efforts about mitigation and adaptation strategies from the most affected people.
